Santa Fe Stoneworks makes one-of-a-kind pocket knifes and cutlery that are meant to tell a story. Tucked away in the Rockies, their studio is the birthplace of beautiful Damascus steel knifes and other intricate knifes that feature natural elements such as turquoise, gemstones, wood, dinosaur bones, and more. Born from Native American roots, and their belief that the gift of a knife symbolized an exchange and trust and respect. To honor this tradition, Santa Fe Stoneworks is dedicated to crafting high-quality knifes that are meant to last for years to come.

Founder Bill Wirtel started his craft in 1978 after leaving the business world, inspired by this grandfather who was a stone cutter in the early 1900s. Bill still crafts his  gorgeous knifes alongside his wife, son, and daughter to this day -- a true family business.

These almost magical knives are crafted in their studio in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
