Jessica Wertz grew up with a family deeply interconnected with the land. She spent her time pondering in nature and cultivated a love for the earth. With her BFA in Ceramics, Jessica Wertz combines her appreciation for the elemental work with her love of family and home into each piece of pottery. All of her work is hand thrown on a wheel or hand made using stoneware and porcelain clay. Each piece embodies a lively, yet soothing energy that translates into her glaze palette of cooling blues, yellows, greens, and whites with the purpose to bring peace to the mind.
