Coco Chispa

A Santa Cruz native, Coco Chispa's cups of pottery are all uniquely made, one-of-a-kind, and a perfect way to portray nature. Coco creates and designs everything from mugs, to plates, to bowls. Each are hand painted with different landscapes of California. She is inspired by all nature all around her and beautifully shows this in her pottery. The aesthetic of her products are earthly tones to represent the natural elements local to California like the Sierra Mountains, Mojave Desert, and Pacific Ocean.

She believes in creating that go-to piece for a person's home and heart. Coco says "It is an intimate art making someone’s favorite vessel. When you drink from a mug you love you begin to associate with it as an extension of yourself. A favorite mug can give you a chance to step out of your day and remind you to slow down and take care of yourself." 

Coco Chispa pottery is all hand thrown, fired, painted, and glazed to perfection. She hopes when you pick up a mug, plate, or bowl of hers, you too can appreciate the beauty of the rolling hills and landscapes of California.
