We are big fans of our new maker Juniper Ridge – who forage all their scents from the wilderness. One our favorite products is the Douglas Fir Spring Tea made from 100% wild harvested Douglas Fir. But we promise you it doesn’t taste like trees–more like citrus. The tea is made from the green shoots of the douglas fir which are full of citric acid that give it a bright taste.
What is so great about Juniper Ridge’s products is you can find out exactly where the ingredients were harvested. First, find the Harvest Number…
Next go to Juniper Ridge’s website here. Look up the harvest number, in our case # 2125-2 – the Sierra Granite Harvest. Juniper Ridge’s team has a knack for beautiful photography – looking through these harvest notes are almost as delightful as their tea.
As for the tea–boil some water, steep the unbleached tea bag for 7 minutes to release the citrus flavor. Add a touch of honey and enjoy!
