Carrie Schafer believes and stands by this quote. Artisan jeweler and successful business owner, Carrie prides herself in "never going with the flow." Going off the road and taking the more unexpected path has always been the more favored choice for her. Taking the path less expected, led her to find her passion in jewelry making. 

Her interest in jewelry spiraled into her career and has made a name for her company, Original Hardware. Original Hardware stands by ethically sourcing their materials, using high quality materials, semi-precious gemstones, and 100% recycled sterling silver.  A company of empowered women, Original Hardware hopes that women who choose their jewelry will find open doors that will lead them to a new journey.
