Just over the hill, a maker named Coco Chispa crafts, designs, and creates beautiful pieces for everyday life. Voted in USA's Top 10 makers in the states, Coco Chispa is a local Santa Cruz maker. She particularly is inspired by California landscapes. In her pieces of pottery, she displays scenery such as the Sierra Mountains, Mojave Desert, and the Pacific Ocean. All pieces are hand painted and glazed by her, which means each varies in design and uniqueness.

She believes in creating that go-to piece for a person's home and heart. Coco says "It is an intimate art making someone’s favorite vessel.
