As Wood As It Gets is the creation of woodworker Tony Fredericks. He discovered the art of woodturning upon meeting master woodturner Warren Atkins. Fredericks quickly became his enthusiastic student and apprentice. He learned the value of high end craftsmanship, thoughtful wood selection, allowing the beauty of the wood to inspire him, and the absolute joy of creating something lovely and purposeful out of a piece of wood. What started as a hobby has now turned into a passion and an art.  Based in Northern California, As Wood As It Gets makes unique and beautiful handcrafted wood products for the home using carefully selected woods from all over the world.
